What codes do we need to follow to ensure ramps are up to standard?
Ramp slopes must not exceed 4.8 degrees. Landing blocks must be 60" by 60" and two lanes must be 60" in order to fit two wheelchairs in each direction. More ADA guidelines and specifics can be found at that address.
What materials are best?
The Federal Highway Administration has several examples on what materials work best for different bridges. For this project, ABC cement, or already cast cement blocks are most efficient.
