Project Overview

The goal of this project is to build a skyway or pedestrian walkway connecting two Drexel buildings or two opposite sides of a street. The purpose is to provide students with a safer option to crossing the street where there may be a high volume of traffic or no crosswalk. The platform will be handicapped accessible and make students' commutes easier and quicker.

Our plan is to build a pedestrian overpass, or skyway, over Chestnut Street in between 33rd and 32nd Streets. After extensive student surveys and traffic analyses, a bridge from the Creese Student Center to Korman is best.
